Kpop: EXID - Oh Yeah (아예)

Like. Like not. Like. Like not. That's my story with EXID's latest song "Ah Yeah". The song is both very interesting and catchy but it sometimes feels to much, like the structure of the song is somewhat too tense, too intense. To be fair, this is part of a distinct style of the group, see also the similar "Up & Down". The video is also a bit dualistic as it is somehow both cute and at the same time plays on x-rated themes.

Jpop: Czecho No Republic - Oh Yeah!!!!!!!

Nerdy trio Czecho No Republic gives us swingy up-tempopop in "Oh Yeah!!!!!!!", making me happy happy.

Kpop: MBLAQ (엠블랙)

Korean pop groups really like their acronyms, and sometimes there is a small story hidden in a seemingly obvious name (because BEAST and UKISS could of course not just mean what it says...), but with MBLAQ the acronym is quite meaningless in itself. What does it mean? Well: "Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality" of course. ｡◕‿◕｡   On a sidenote, they are also often mentioned whan talking about the sexiest boy bands in kpop. Judge yourself.

• MBLAQ - Y
• MBLAQ - Stay
• MBLAQ - This is War (전쟁이야)
• MBLAQ - Oh Yeah
• MBLAQ - Cry
• MBLAQ - Mona Lisa

Veckans kpop: G-Dragon

Förut skrev jag om Big Bang, men det känns som om G-Dragon borde få ett eget inlägg, särskilt i och med nya singeln Crayon som är en skön blandning av dagisnivåsurrealism och glad koreansk rapp.

Get your Cray - on!

• G-Dragon - Coup D'etat
• G-Dragon - Michi-GO
• G-Dragon - Crayon
• G-Dragon - A Yo
• G-Dragon - Heartbreaker
• G-Dragon - One of a kind
• G-Dragon & TOP ft Park Bom (2NE1) - Oh Yeah (Live)

Veckans kpop: Big Bang

• Big Bang - Fantastic Baby
• Big Bang - Monster (Ja, en del av deras 'looks' är monstruöst fåniga...)
• Taeyang - I'll be there
• G-Dragon - A Yo
• G-Dragon - Heartbreaker
• G-Dragon & TOP ft Park Bom (2NE1) - Oh Yeah (Live)
