Kpop/rock: Asian Chairshot (아시아 체어샷)

This korean rock band Asian Chairshot formed in 2011 and can be a nice break from the usual kpop I listen to. I'm not sure if their song has anything to do with the wrestling movie "The Foul King" from 2000, but as the bands name is the name of a wrestling move, it is fully possible. An interview here. Ukrainian pop: Quest Pistols - You're Pohudela

This is one of the hits of Quest Pistols that I've missed. The cooperation with "Lolita" (who in no ways is a lolita in its original sense, and weight is part of the lyrics' theme) is great and even if it is kind of "nicer" than many of their other songs it is basically the same.

German pop: Laing

Laing is a Electro-synth group from Germany that does slimmed down pop with their biggest hit being "Morgens immer müde" from 2011.

Mandopop: Cyndi Wang - Sticky (黏黏黏黏)

One of the four "queens" of Taiwanese pop, and therefore mandopop in general, Cyndi Wang is maybe the most playful in her style. "Sticky" is another good example of this.

Ukrainian pop: Tina Karol (Тіна Карол)

Tina Karol 's song "What I Know" isnt like most of the ukrainian modern pop. Visually and musically it has a little more nuanced attidude. Not to say it is necessary better, but it is refreshing with something with a little more unusual bite.

Jdrama: The reason I can't find my love

This drama, known in Japan as Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu is a enjoyable drama about three (later on four) women in their 20s, in the beginning/middle of their working career, and all somewhat lost in regards to their love life. We get to follow Emi Fuji, a kind of tomboy working as a lightning electrician, Saki Ogura, who lives a double life in that she has a hostess jobb even though all believes she has fulfilled her families hopes and working at a publishing company, and finally Mako Hanzawa, who is a honest and structured temp worker at a company.
The nice thing about this series is how it evolves in a measured pace, intertwining the histories of the the three women, and with the endings being relatively an open deal until the end. It reminds me of the kind of  movies which is about women more than a special message or end (even though this series has those too). A nicely crafted 10 episodes that I recommend to anyone interested in (Asian) non-action drama.
