Kpop: Lee Seung Hwan (이승환)
I have heard about now 52 year old Lee Seung Hwan before but never actually heard anything by him until this excellent, bombastic and captivating single "God Of Money", a video that feels like Monthy Python meets Bohemian Rhapsody, in a good way.

Kpop: Taemin - Move
The images above is from the duo version, the rest from the "solo" version
Mandopop: Cosmos People - Hello Princess (你以為)
The song "I Hate You" from 2015 was one of my favorite mandopop songs of 2015, and Cosmos People have stayed true to their sound in "Hello Princess" which has the same kind of airy funky sound, music made for feeling all sunny on the inside. Funny observation: they use the cool OP-1 synth too!

Jpop: Oresama - Trip Trip Trip
My liking for Oresama keep increasing for every time the duo evolves their special brand of happy comic styled vides and songs where the singer Pon really has managed to find her special id that differentiates her from the legion of happy young idols out there in jpop, of course helped by the composer Kojima Hideya. The new "Trip Trip Trip" is maybe their best video so far, and I don't even care which anime it is for this time, the video stands so well on its own.
Jpop: Daoko & Yasuyuki Okamura - Step up Love (ステップアップLOVE)
Stylish Daoko is back with the ending theme for the anime "Kekkai Sensen & Beyond", in a duo with musician and singer Yasuyuki Okamura. I really love the theme of the song, a kind of one-on-one song competition taking place in a basketball court. To be honest I think Yasuyuki's emotional song tops Daoko's, but it is the two voices together that really makes this such a enjoyable track.
By the way, doesn't she really sound like Komuai in this song?
