Veterans Shinhwa follow up their nice comeback from this winter with This Love which has a tight beat and dancing. Nicely done again, guys, and another proof that experience can make all the difference in the result.
Vixx is back with their new "Hyde" which is about being turned down in a relation. Their latest single, On and On was one of my favorites for the first three months of 2013, and even though Hyde is not quite on par with that they still deliver another nicely executed video where I am already yearning for a tougher bass remix.
I'm somewhat ashamed to have missed out on Taiwanese dramatic pop star Jolin Tsai returning with her new song earlier this spring, but here it is. Beast is one big powerful statement from the pop queen of Taiwan. From the impressive "The great artist" with Victorian steampunk references here she goes all out with a red, biotech style which actually makes me think of the Nintendo series Metroid (which is a very positive comment from me).
Girl's Generation(/SNSD) continues releasing (in my opinion) "meh" singles with this upcoming Japanese "Love&Girls", an obvious go at a summer hit. Please raise the quality level soon.
This article at MTV sums W&Whale rather well up: I do hope their memorable song and video from last year is a sign of things to come and not just a final blossoming. Anyways, Break It Down is not to miss as vitality sign on the Korean pop scene.
Following up last years odd and strangely interesting debut, whats really attracts me with WonderBoyz "Tarzan" is the soundscape, I even like the male rap. It will probably get repetitive later on, but right now the video, with Hyerin from Girl's Day as Jane ofc helping too.
