Jpop/Kpop: AoA - Oh Boy

After a long period of success, korean kpop ladies AoA is trying their luck on the japanese market with the dedicated single "Oh Boy", which seemingly is about a shy man learning how to be a 'real man' under the supervision of the fair femme's of AoA. The video is great if you like AoA's charms since before - musically it is a bit repetitive but OK.

Jpop: Ito Momoka (伊藤萌々香)

Being the charismatic lead star of japanese idol group Fairies, it was natural that Momoka would release some solo singles sooner or later. This was released this summer, and actually manages to integrate the typical uptempo idol chatter into a more interesting energic song. And, no, it is not a remake of Lady Gaga's old hit...

Russian pop: XES

The group is newly started and has a sound similar to Tesla Boy, even though it is to early to say if they can deliver on that level. The first single "Black Tears" shows great promise anyway, with a killer intro, and in it they have the Japanese/Russian singer Origa as an interesting guest singer.
