Kpop: Taemin - Move

The images above is from the duo version, the rest from the "solo" version

It has been getting close to two years since Taemin released his first album, but now "Move" is here, and with it comes the single with the same name, a cool video where the duo version is clearly the one to watch. his dancing with japanese dancer Koharu (which he has cooperated with before).

Jpop: 0.8Syooogeki (0.8秒と衝撃)

0.8秒と衝撃 means '0.8 seconds and a crash" and the japanese duo consisting of Tadaomi Toyama and J.M. for sure likes music with a bit of wild in it. Their videos are a feast of joyfulness and carefree energy with a musical edge.

Jpop: Charisma.com - Kongara Girl (こんがらガール)

The cool girl in duo Charisma.com does a promotional video (for hair brushes Tangle Teezers) where they are (a kind of odd) super heroes. Kind of...anyway, with lots of their usual attitude and "who cares".

Mandopop: Esther Liu (劉品言)

Esther Liu (Liu Pinyan) from Taiwanese pop duo Sweety has 'resurfaced' (pun intended) after many years without anything happing, and now through her own record label and efforts. She is singing in french with a video that is suitably matching that with Esther dreamingly moving in water.

Kpop/Mandopop: T-ara with Chopstick Brothers - Little Apple

The internet viral hit "Little Apple/Xiao Pingo" by the chinese comic duo Chopstick Brothers have now been taken up by one of the most famous kpop groups, T-ara, which does a funny video where they and the brothers mix Korean and Chinese in a fun way. There's even an indirect tribute to another team of music nerds, korean Crayon Pop, with the four yellow jumpsuits screaming Dancing Queen, am I not right? ;-)

Kpop: Norazo (노라조)

Comedy duo Norazo's "Wild Horse" again shows off their skills att funny and catchy videos. It is said to be a comment on freedom versus captivity, but it is of course another chance for them to test their ironic wings. (^_^) Still, much like UV, they got the music skills that more than well passes the ones of "ordinary" kpop singers.

Jpop: Amiaya - Dio

Tokyo Duo Amiaya is going strong right now with the follow up (on recent Star Line) with their "Dio". They have begun to really establish their distinctive visual style and sound, as Dio is a clear example of (even if they may have overdone the greyscale a bit). This is actually the first video where the song in itself is more interesting than the video.
