Kpop: Mamamoo - Woo Hoo (기대해도 좋은 날)

This song is a slightly different brand of R&B from the fantastic voices of Mamamoo, sounding more like some of Mariah Carey's lighter pieces, which is of course isn't a bad thing. It seems like a perfect piece for the upcoming summer but this track is actually a CF and part of the campaing for LG's new G5 phone. As I've said before, why can't we have more kpop ads in Sweden? ;-)

Ok, ok, Mamamoo - I can't resist writing about "You're the best" too! I loved "Taller Than You" so much so I may have been treating their recent song a bit unfairly but here it is. What made me decide was their "0.5 x 2" version which was another fun take on the original video. Please watch some of their live recordings too, they really rock live too.

Kpop: Mamamoo - Mr Ambiguous (Mr.애매모호)

The formal debut of vocally strong group Mamamoo is "Mr Ambigous", which again showcases their singing capabilities together with a soulful charm. Also, they again show of an impressive number of guests in the video, even going so far as it to become distracting like the cut with Baek Z Young.

The group Mamamoo has gotten of with a good start, especially in which stars they have cooperated with from the beginning (first Bumkey and now K.Will and Wheesung), and the sound they are kicking is full of good vibes so that even I digs this korean R&B. They got style and feeling, and a sound thats fuller than most you hear in Korea.
