Kpop: Elris (엘리스)

All images is from the Pow Pow video, with the last one above and below being from the Sailor Moon version.

The 2017 kpop rookies Elris really hasn't caught my interest with their debut, but with their latest video "Pow Pow" they have me hooked. At first, I honestly felt it to be just repetitive and plastic, but as you will find yourself, the song catches on and in the end I have gotten hooked. The song kind of never has a dead moment, in a good way. And the Sailor Moon version, is just to die for!

Kpop: OhBliss (오블리스)

So, really, I shouldn't like this stuff so easily anymore. But, well, this was what got me into kpop from the start, so there is not helping it, but this is perfect debut stuff from the girls of OhBliss.

Kpop: Icia (아이시어)

After a rather anonymous debut under the name Sida last year, and a number of explicit fancams, Icia now debuts properly with a charming music video and a song that is quite catchy, "Time Bomb". If their company has the proper economical strength to push them forward, they could be quite successful.

Kpop: myB (마이비)

I've had myB going on and off for a blog post ever since their debut last autumn, but somehow their gimmick of all being blond has honestly turned me off somewhat of their music videos as I really have a bias for dark hair (liking kpop, hello!) but then finally I felt it was being unfair as the songs themselves (and the girls) does a good job of delivering happy kpop worth sharing.

Kpop: Snuper(스누퍼)

You only need to hear the first seconds of the new single from the boys of Snuper (Oh, this way kpop groups choses their names....) and you know this song is another one riding the wave of 80s retro sound and looks. As a person who grew up with that sound, I do like this, but it is borderline too sweet at times. ;-) Together with their debut "Shall We Dance", this is the first kpop group for Widmay Entertainmentso we will soon see if they have the necessary clout to succeed in the tough kpop business.
