Kpop: Girl's Day - Hello Bubble (헬로버블)

Ok, let's do this! I love most of what Girl's Day do, and even though I found "Bubble" flimsy at the time of its release one year ago, it grew on me and so, summer having arrived, I feel it should get its own blog post. The video is basically payed for by a hair product company, something not that unusual at all in kpop.

Kpop: Heyne - Love Cells (연애세포)

It was quite some time ago since I last wrote about Heyne, ie at her debut back in 2013, and already then I noted that her voice has a kind of love it/hate it sound, and it is even more true with "Love Cells" which utilizes/worsens her cutesy singing in a nostalgic (I'd say 80s even though her label says 90s) track with the expected summer/love theme in both text and video.

Kpop: AoA - Good Luck (굿럭)

From the fouth mini-album of AoA, and obviously their go at a summer hit, we get the single "Good Luck" which sees them doing a baywatch theme among others, all looking very summery. The product placements are heavy but then that's probably the reason we get such a nice looking video too. ;-)

Kpop: Mamamoo - Woo Hoo (기대해도 좋은 날)

This song is a slightly different brand of R&B from the fantastic voices of Mamamoo, sounding more like some of Mariah Carey's lighter pieces, which is of course isn't a bad thing. It seems like a perfect piece for the upcoming summer but this track is actually a CF and part of the campaing for LG's new G5 phone. As I've said before, why can't we have more kpop ads in Sweden? ;-)
