Jpop: Diachi Miura - Cry & Fight

The 10th single of Diachi Miura is "Cry & Fight" and the dance is I think in focus here, with the song at the times being a sound track for the performance rather than the other way around. This is bad for the song as a purely musical piece, but then his artistry has ever been about both.

Kpop: Taemin - Drip Drop & Press Your Number

We have already seen Taemin from Shinee do his solo debut in 2014 with "Danger", but new his first full album is being released and so here are two full videos, and I like both about equally. "Press Your Number" works better musically but maybe "Drip Drop" is more fun to watch.

Jpop: E-girls

E-girls is a japanese dance performance group that gradually has focused more (or rather, begun to more seriously focus) on the singing. I have already written about one of their sub-groups, Happiness, but now it is time for E-girls too. I usually don't share Christmas videos but let's make an exception as I feel it is really time to share the holiday spirit. ;-)

Jpop: World Order - Information Empire

I love World Order, and here is another reason - "Information Empire". True to form, they visit another world city and or place and this time it is London.

Kpop/indie: Ninano Nanda (니나노 난다)

Pansori is a traditional way of telling stories in Korea, with a vocalist and a drummer. Ninano Nanda is a duo trying to modernize this genre and I think they are doing something quite interesting and slightly hypnotic (or headache-inducing, depending of preferences).

Kpop: Queen B'z

The group previously known as P.O.P Con in 2012, made a "re-debut" as Queen B'z this autumn with the somewhat different bloody vampire-hunter styled "Bad". Come Christmas Day they softened this with a cutesy song "2014 Wishlist" (2014 희망사항). While being a quite ordinary song, it is still better than many other sub-par - holiday offerings from kpop super-groups.
