Mandopop: Sophia Wang - Fly Fly Fly & Beautiful

There *is* something about thrashy EDM songs that can be quite attractive and Sophia Wang follows up the recent semi-interesting Beautiful with just a heavy beat-techno by giving us "Fly Fly Fly". While listening, why not read a suitably "trashy" article on her complicated  love life?

Kpop: Lizzy - Good Bye PMS (Good Bye 굿바이)

Well...now I have seen it all. One of my favorite kpop stars following up her super stylish retro debut "Not an easy girl" with a super impressive super hero movie about... PMS! Lizzy fights PMS in the form of a devil (yes, it's Park Myung Soo) and is on the defensive until she gets her PMS medication, at which point this becomes a Godzilla-sized fight. This is so frigging cool on so many levels, haha! (BTW, did you miss the "Bitches Ain’t Shit" sweater?) And the best CF I have ever seen... ;-P

Kpop: Lizzy (리지)

My favorite in korean trio Orange Caramel has always been Lizzy, so it's fun to to see her release her solo debut, and it is suitable "OC" in the concept: they put her into the 1960 movie 'Chunhyangjeon' which is a classic love story where she sings about not being easy to get.

Kpop: 9Muses - Drama

While 2013 was a golden year in my opinion for 9Muses with three great videos, 2014 meant losing some members and releasing nothing (I don't count sub-unit Nasty Nasty) the new Drama has two new girls joining the group making the "nine muses" actually counting eight lovely ladies... 9Muses is known for consistently delivering good (not fantastic) songs, and for their consistent concept (which to be honest is a kind of classic pin-up look), and the new music video is no exception even though I must say it's not up to GlueGun or Wild in either department. But it's not bad either, to be honest. The lyrics is about a girl being in love with her friend's boyfriend, and more drama is delivering as we get a remake of a (the) classic Marilyn Monroe scene.
