Mandopop: Beauty Lo - What's Wrong!(你幹嘛!)

This was a hard one to track down properly, but as far as I can understand, mega star Show Lou crossdressed in a challenge in the show Go Fighting! under the alias Beaty Lo (looking like the thai weight lifter winning the 48kg class in Rio). This became so popular that he then had to do a music video about it, this being it. :-D
The name of the song in chinese, actually means "What are you doing?" but depending on tone it can also mean as translated, "What's Wrong!".

Thai pop: Slot Machine

Slot Machine is a thai pop band that has been around for quite some time now (2000) and they have been steadily gaining ground abroad and their english versions of newer singles is another sign of this I think. The new "Say What You Want" is an excellent example of a smooth and liable piece of time- and placeless pop that everyone should get to hear.

Thai pop: Aof (อ๊อฟ)

Thai/Chinese singer and actor Pongsak Rattanapong, as his real name is, has a positive energy that really gets me going in this new video "Just One Night".

Thaipop: Gaia (ไกอา)

The five members of Thai group Gaia has been around now for three years, but the new video "Love Me Please!" is the first one that is a bit more than rises above average idol-wannabe-ness. A little more humor, a little more class than before, and the dance-in-the-dust effects are a nice touch.

Thai pop: Shimi Club (สโมสรชิมิ)

Shimi Club is a Thai idol group under Rsiam entertainment with rotating members. The new "Single lady" from the upcoming album "Single Club" is plenty fun, as expected of a Thai music video.

  • Shimi Club - Single Lady (โสดอยู่รู้ยัง)

Thai pop: Baitoey R Siam (Suteewan Taveesin/สุธีวัน ทวีสิน)

Baitoey got popular singing the old style "luk tung" music (somewhat like country music) until she finally got to sing what she wanted, modern pop music. She was part of the widely famous "Splash Out" song and video with 3.2.1. The new "Sticky" is a funny and catchy example of this, a prime example of the kind of humurous music videos the Thai does so well.
  • Baitoey - Sticky (ติดหนึบ)
  • Baitoey - Indecent (โป๊, a funny response to her haters)
  • Baitoey - Don't Cha

Thai pop: Kratae & Kritai - Meree

Namwannoi Sakboonwa was known as Kratae when being a Thai Boxer, and a successful one at that; being national champion and even meeting a Japanese opponent in 2003 for an international title. Funnily enough her one weakness was her face. Why, because she was protecting it so much as she also wanted a music career! In this new video, which is obviously also a CF (sponsored by a company as a part of their campaign), she sings together with her sister.
