Kpop: 2Eyes - Pippi

2Eyes debuted two years ago with moderately successful "Don't mess with me" but after that they have been invisible, until now. The new song is quite average but has one feature making it interesting, and that is its Pippi (Longstocking) theme, which for me as a Swede is noticable. This has already been tried quite recently, last Christmas by The Queen B'z, and the song doesn't do 2Eyes much good either, I am sad to say.

Trip to Norrland: Day 7 - Trollstigen (The Troll Path)

The last day of my road trip with my children saw us visiting the fantastic Trollstigen ("The Troll Path") in Lesjöfors. Hidden among the firs of the mountainside east of the small town (behind the Lesjöfors Museum) is a steep path full with visible and hidden Trolls carved from wood. It is really a special experience that is completely free and as long as you can take the somewhat arduous climb up, it is a must if you pass this area by. The whole path soon turns into a circular path of a total 3 km, but you can just walk a few hundred meters up the slope and it will still be worth it.

Trip to Norrland: Day 1 - Dragon Gate and Railway Museum

Today was the first day of my trip to the northern part of Sweden, "Norrland", which in its widest definition consists of seven counties (including Värmland and Dalarna), and we will visit them all. This is an extremely rough plot of the route we will follow between 13th - 19th June 2014. I haven't calculated the total milage, but with all extra stops it will probably be something like 2500 km in total.

Today the weather turned colder with some rain showers, so we cancelled the bath at Rullsand and instead visited the oddity that is Dragon Gate between Uppsala and Gävle, and then the Swedish Railway Museum in Gävle. We stayed at STF Vandrarhem Regnsjö Knyssla 30 km west of Söderhamn, a beautiful and pitoreque farm turned hotel. 310 km travelled today.
