Jpop: Scandal (スキャンダル)

If I was to mention the girl pop band I respect the most, even though I may not listen to them the most, it is Scandal, consisting of Haruna (lead vocals), Mami (lead guitar), Tomomi(bass) and Rina(drums), who formed their band during high school and then has stuck together since then, plays classic rock music with all that it entails with a touch of japanese kawaii. Watching their live finishing piece, Space Ranger, is actually the truest way of first experiencing them.

Kpop: F.T. Island (F.T.아일랜드)

FT Island, or Five Treasure Island as the five man group is named, started their debut in 2007 with quite a lot of heartfelt semi-rock ballads, but have since them delivered quite a lot of more uptempo (yes heartfelt rock ballads, but still), with I Wish maybe the best one. I have mixed in some of their Japanese singles in the list also.
