Mandopop: Momo Wu - I Wanna Be Your Lover, My Lips & Shape Up

Momo Wu has always done very colorful videos, and both "My Lips" and "Shape up" earlier this year was gorgeously and garishly so, but musically slightly so-so. The new "I wanna be your lover" is that too, but it is also musically more rewarding, with a more easily digestible score.

Mandopop: Jolin Tsai - Medusa (美杜莎)

"Medusa" is the third single from Jolin Tsai's latest album Play (after "Phony Queen" and "Play"), and true to her tradition, it is 1. a great video, 2. very clearly sponsored. The visuals and music may not be among her best, but it is still great fun to watch, with sponsors this time obviously being Intel and Pepsi (the later one being her co-sponsor for a long time).

Mandopop: Momo Wu (Wu Mochou/吴莫愁)

Known and liked for her different voice and shining personality from her participation in The Voice China in 2012, Momo Wu can maybe be compared with Katy Perry in style, but that just goes part of the way as she is really special. Camazing and Live For Now Momo are lighter pieces, Omnipresent and No Difference are more uptempo dance pop while Relief is amore slow ballad. And several of them are also advertisement videos, guess which? ;-)
