Kpop: BTS - Fire & I Need U

Well, I am catching up on my kpop boy band deficiency, and what better than to write again about BTS as they released two excellent songs this last week. "Fire" has their usual attitude intensive (over...)posturing but the song delivers so it is well and OK, but my favorite is the more sober "I need U", a ballad that touches my heart (wonders of all wonders).

Kpop: JJCC (제이제이씨씨)

JJCC is a kpop group started last year by chinese/Hollywood movie star Jackie Chan, said to long have favored kpop but I would guess he also wants to tap in on the success of kpop in (among others) China. I liked Bing Bing Bing last year and with the new Where you at, they are actually looking like more than 'just' a pet project.

Kpop: 2NE1 (투애니원)

2NE1 is for one of the girl groups who best can do attitude with real credibility. Sure, its in a relative kpop sense of toughness, but even in ballads an such they have a certain way of carrying themselves which earns respect for me.
