Kpop: G-Dragon - Coup D'etat

If Kara's latest "Damaged Lady" is a classic quality kpop example of polished mainstream kpop, G-Dragon returns with Coup D'etat to show what is undeniably the one kpop artist you must never miss a video of as they are like a mixture of crazy kpop rap, art installation and a Tarantino movie. Hell, noone the least interested in music videos should sit out on this!

Kpop: Kara - Damaged Lady (숙녀가 못 돼)

"Damaged Lady" means Kara is back with another classic Kara hit. It is glassy, elegant and much surface and little substance, but that how we love them. (They are also the kpop band that has really found that spot that makes them translate so well between Korean and Japanese Pop, which is no small feat in my opinion.) This video finds them adorning royal gear, but also dancing in sprinklers and dumping bad boyfriends. Rally classic kpop stuff realy, but sooo sweet.

Kpop: Kara(카라)

Kara - Pandora
One of kpops most famous stars is Kara, who have quite a nice track record of catchy and uptempo hits, and have changed their image several times during their career, which is quite normal for kpop groups where its natural tthat group members and albums come with their distinct looks and sounds, just like the current fashion. Nothing bad about it really, kpop has ever been mostly about surface and fun. Being a relatively "old" group (5 years is old here), the members have also had time to have solo careers too.

Update: Latest video "Damaged Lady" is a classic Kara hit.
Update: Mamma Mia definitely shows that Kara has handled the transition from Nicole to Youngji well.
