Kpop: Crayon Pop - Doo Doom Chit (두둠칫)

The masters of cute choregraphy. Crayon Pop, is back!! Their new song is "Doo Doom Chit", which is the name of the internet meme with the same name. The video is a CP classic with the girls doing a happy and fun choreography, and the song has them going back to their roots (which is good) witha sound that makes me think of italopop. And of course the song can be pronounced as "The Dumb Shit"!

The wait for the very much anticipated return of Korean nerd dance act number one Crayon Pop is over! The queens of quirky choregraphy and cute looks returns with a super hero themed video where references to anime and TV-series abound (Sailor Queen and ...  Halo?).

Kpop: Crayon Pop - C'mon C'mon (뜬뜬뜬뜬 뜨든뜬)

Korea's possibly most cute girl band, cute as in japanese kawaii, must be Crayon Pop, who has gone for lots of odd dancing concepts and funny clothes in their videos. This is obvious a niche that has worked well for them, but I love how their new retro "C'mon C'mon" really manages to do 80s in a way that feels meaningful and genuinely charming. The song is taken from the korean drama "High school: Love on" which is quite natural as ChoA has participated in it.

After their viral hit "Bar Bar Bar" last summer, the nerdy dancers of Crayon Pop makes their real return on Fool's Day (of course!) with their new offer "Uh ee" (really pronounced like "Hey!"), and it is again a video full of fun and unique dance moves. As they take their ideas from a different pool than most kpop groups (sexy/serious), they have a fantastic range of fun things they can pull off, and they go all out in that, indeed. "Dance on one leg","nerdy foot and hip translation", "dancing with guns", and more moves a cant even imagine names for are there. The video is a nonstop parade of stuff to laugh or learn. The music is a suitable trot meets techno dance that, even though not as good as their best songs, I still think is a little better than Bar Bar Bar. Welcome back, fantastic five!
