Kpop: Purfles (퍼펄즈)

Purfles (the name being an odd amalgam of the korean words for pearls and fur) debuted last year with "1, 2, 3" on the small label Crescendo music, to return this september with "A Bad Thing". Both songs are sensual and rhytmic that reminded me of Rania for some reason.

Kpop: WIMP

The new duo WIMP consists of Mebby and Mekky and evidently Mebby does the melodies and Mekky the beats. "Somewhere far" is a soft electronic pop song that could have been written anytime during the last 20 years, in a good way. Not a instant classic but a good start as the sounds are really good.

Kpop: T-ara - Sugar Free (슈가프리)

The new song from T-ara is rather interesting, actually, not sure why I was expecting to be disappointed. Probably because I have had this feeling T-ara has seen their better days. But even though the video is rather unimaginative, the song works for its purpose.
