Jpop: Perfume - Cling Cling

Lets just say from the start that I am a little disappointed over Perfume's "Cling Cling". It is simply not a good song. It is ironic that when they now deviated a little from their well honed but maybe too familiar formula, the result is not a creative improvement but a track that lacks in the rhythm department - so central to Perfume. Its not that the sounds aren't there. They just don't match so well. Somehow the song is too…low key. I am wondering if it will grow on me? We will see.

The super trio from Japan, Perfume, releases (yet another) short version of a new song, this time it is "Display" from their 20th single "Cling Cling". The song is connected to a Panasonic campaign for their new 4K Television. As variation from their (successful) concept goes, this one is above average music wise.
