Kpop: Shinhwa - Touch

Just getting to a 13th album is impressive by Shinhwa in the ever young kpop, but then to deliver a great first track like "Touch" is even better. It got some lovely samples and drops in it, and for a slow song (not my favorite normally) it really works all the way.

Awesome City Club will be releasing their new album "Awesome City Tracks 4" at the end of January, and the first release from that is the new song with the somewhat unwieldy name "I will decide we are not making a mistake tonight", but it is a nice one anyways.

Kpop/pop: Far East Movement ft Tiffany & King Chain - Don't Speak

The next song from Far East Movement's Identity album is "Don't Speak", which is an interesting pop/EDM song starring (ex-Girl's Generation) Tiffany delivering another stable english singing performance.

Jpop: Perfume - Flash

On the 6th of April, jpop synthpop stars Perfume will release their new album "Cosmic Explorer", and as a first single we have already got to hear "Flash" one month ago as part of a trailer for the movie "Chihayafuru" which premiered last week in Japan. That was a movie about a Japanese card game based on first guessing the end of poems being read up, think of it like a version of Jeopardy without the money part.
The new short video released this week instead lets us finally see the three girls themselves with anew martial art styled choregraphy. The music is slightly above average, the hallmark electronic sound well in place.

Jpop/metal: Babymetal - Karate

From maybe THE hot metal/jpop item of 2015, the three girls (and their possè) of Babymetal, now finally comes the much awaited first song from the new album "Metal Resistance", and for all the fans loving their mixture of metal and cute idol singing, this is most assuredly another favorite. I personally think it is not their best to date, but it is none the less quite nice.

Kpop: Azin (아진)

The debut EP "Développé" from Korean electronic artist Azin has the lead single "Delete", a lovely treat of nice samples and a enjoyable rhythm. For a full review a recommend Korean Indie, even though I don't agree on the opinion expressed about Delete.
