Jpop: Who the Bitch - Tokio

I'm not quite sure, but I think the current setup of Japanese rockpop band Who the Bitch, formed in 2005, is actually made up of the supporting members left when the original creators left the band in 2013. Anyway, there is a focus in this song that makes me like it even though its probably much to noisy for my taste. Its not that I don't like heavy sounds, I just dont like music where I feel the sound levels are just for show and not quite needed.

Mandopop: Li Yuchun/Chris Lee (李宇春)

Li Yuchun (or her english name Chris Lee) from China was widely debated when she won the idol competition Super Girl in 2005 as she had a tomboyish/androgynous styling which didn't follow the usual beauty standard. She has since then risen to become one of the most famous chinese singers, but for me her music hasn't really done it for until this year. First the interesting "Dance to the music", and now, the superb synth retro video of "In 1987, I didn't know I would meet you".
