Kpop: Rainbow - Black Swan (블랙스완)

It *is* a bit strange, this new video from korean Rainbow. New and dark, their return single "Black Swan" seems to be about them losing their mind and the music somehow manages to mix polished kpop and at the same time conveying a slightly uneasy feeling. Or, maybe the composition simply isn't good enough(a bit flat and static), I'm not sure. But it is fascinating to watch.

The much awaited Rainbow single Tell Me Tell Me is here, and what about it? Well, from the number of pictures I have posted here, the music video has a lot of visual bonanza to offer, but the song in itself feels...so-so. It is really just run-of.the-mill kpop, recipe A. So without the video, nah.

Rainbow is really not the best kpop i know, but they do their best I suppose. And of course, like most kpop bands nowadays, they have a subunit too, Rainbow Pixie.
