Jpop: Yumemiru Adolescence (夢みるアドレセンス)

I will say that most of what Yumemiru Adolescence has produced is neither unique nor exceedingly good, although charming and above average. No what makes me want to mention them is their latest "Leadership", which has a nice gimmick going as everything is filmed in a 45 degree angle. This used to the outmost to make it interesting. Combine this with excellent and a bit more restrain in the intensity of deliverance, and you have a jpop video well worth watching.

  • Yumemiru Adolescence - Dance Gene! (舞いジェネ!)

Kpop: ELO / Oh Min Taek (오민택)

Jay Park and his label AOMG debuts another excellent singer with ELO. The new single "Rose" by Oh Min Taek, as his real name is, is an excellent R&B track.

Kpop: Spica - Secret Time

Spica has had a decidedly definite niche with their retro americana looks, always somehow stylish but also always missing out on that hit and spotlight. "Secret Time"  is another excellente xample of this, and I think it won't change anything. The have it all, looks, sound and production. They just don't have 'it', whatever it is.

Kpop: Taewan (태완)

Singer and songwriter Taewan (sometime alias 'C Luv') has been doing music for a long time (Several songs for D Unit among other stuff) and debuted back in 2006. Now, 10 years laters, his new "Problem" shows of his talents and how he has matured. The passion and feeling is really nice.

Mandopop: Ma Ning (馬寧)

Ma Ning has an obvious penchant for the opulent and showfullness, and his new "Anyway, it's all me" confirms this. It is all has a slight drag queen show over it, and none the less fascinating to watch.

Jpop: Devil No Id

Even though the new japanese trio Devil No Id obviously is a spin on the success that is Babymetal, I still think the concept has promise, even though it is not fully clear where it will take them. Further videos will clearify that but until then I will enjoy the dark color schem of "Eve".

Kpop: Beat Win (비트윈)

Beatwin debuted in 2014 with nice enough Illusion being their best video then, but then there hasn't been anything worth noticing, but now that may be changing with "Your Girl". The video and song isn't anything revolutionary but the right parts are there to build something really good - structure, production and charisma.
