Kpop: Beenzino (빈지노)

The 28 year old rapper Beenzino from Korea has a respectable number of songs and collaborations behind him, with the one with BoA earlier this year ranking the highest in my eyes status wise, but the latest "Life In Color" is the song that makes me more interested with a combination of a fun video and him singing more than rapping.

Kpop: Grace (그레이스)

The debut from korean rapper Grace feels like 2NE1 squeezed into one cool woman. The video is a heap of fun where she pokes wildly at different pop culture tropes from the refrain's "I'm fine, thankyou, and you?", via the colorful kpop refrences to the programming "Hello World" meme. If her company doesn't prove to light-weight, a powerful factor in korean music industry, this could go very well.
