Kpop: Brave Girls - Rollin' (롤린)

Finally, I say, Brave Girls got back to the sound that everyone loved in tehir early "Deepend". Their new "Rollin' " is both a visual treat and a great music production. It doesn't matter at all that their pronouncation is "lolli lolli lolli" either, rather it makes it even more fun to sing along to. ;-)

S.E.S.

Many comebacks in kpop the last year, and ofc S.E.S. has to be there too. I like their more uptempo "Paradise" the most, with balanced retro synths. Check out Bada's comeback last year too.

Kpop: AoA - Excuse Me & Bing Bing

After having done a couple of (too) sugar sweet or just different songs for their japanese debut, AoA are finally back to an anticipated comeback i their traditional kpop sound. Excuse is their typical storydriven and sexy video while Bing Bing is them going to the circus. Welcome back!

Kpop: Uhm Jung Hwa (엄정화)

This being the year of comebacks in kpop, it's natural to see 47 year old Uhm Jung Hwa make a comeback too. She has been all over the korean wave of music, movies and media, and fits right into this. Her two videos are really two excellent and slightly dark examples on how to make a good come-back, "Watch me Now" being my favorite.

Kpop: Ladies Code - The Rain (더 레인)

After the tradgedies of 2014 the remaining three women of Ladies Code balanced their comeback perfectly  with Galaxy, where they found a darker but emotional tone. They seem to be building on this in "The Rain", a classy and sober video. The song is simplistic but well produced and again I think it suits them well.
