Jpop: Chisato Moritaka (森高千里)

I thought if you liked her in the tofubeats song from 2013, you should listen to some of Chisato Moritaka's original 80s/early 90s songs. My favourite is "The Stress" which really sets of my 80s alert (in a good way) ... ;-)

Mandopop: MissTER

Taiwainese group Misster is quite interesting in that they doesn't quite follow the usual very explicit gender styling of asian pop music - it consists of five girls that dress, look and sing like (asian) boys. Really not a big deal, but when you see it so seldom it well worth supporting.
