Kpop: Wonder Girls - I Feel You

A-yah! Finally a kpop act this summer that delivers something that is beyond lazy. Wonder Girls return with a video oozing of 80s retro both in the visual theme and in the sound, with a composition and catchy phrases that works quite well. Nicely done!

Kpop: HA:TFELT (핫펠트)

After Sunmi's successful solo career start, it is time for the next Wonder Girl member to debut. Under the new alias HA:TFELT, Ye Eun(Yenny/박예은) gives us a passionate piece in "Ain't Nobody", where modern dance plays a central role with her rolling around in the street even (making lots of people having to deal with their OCD cleaning disorders…). This follows up on JYP's ideas for Sunmi - I think the video is great and this is an interesting turn of events for kpop, and my gut feeling this is the next trend after the last years focus on "sexy/exotic dancing".

• HA:TFELT - Ain't Nobody

Kpop: Sunmi - Full Moon (보름달)

Leaving Wonder Girls, Sunmi released her first and successful single "24 Hours" last fall. Now she returns for her first mini-album, and with this comes the new track "Full Moon", featuring Lena (from an upcoming rookie group at JYP). Again it is a very nice video, and the song is quite good too (albeit my favorite is still 24 hours).

Kpop: Sunmi (선미)

Sunmi from Wonder Girls is going solo and *damn* is it a promising debut. "24 hours" just oozes powerful sensuality, with a slick performance that combined with the beat and the visuals makes the whole package a impressive statement with an almost hypnotic quality.
